Summary
The document describes the main activities done in the first month of the MOSAIC project planning.

Management
The main management activities performed have been: contractual finalization web site organisation and definition project standard and tool definition kick-off organisation project secretary organisation and start-up

Technical
The activities done are related to the WP 1100, 1300, and 1400. The progress of the activities will be reviewed and detailed during the internal meeting in Rome (2nd June 1997). A more detailed report will be provided after the above mentioned meeting.

PO progress
The contract between Infobyte and Arenotech will be signed the 2nd June 1997.

Contractual
The main points to be clarified are:

• 1st cost statement expected date
• general procedure for transfer budget items ( in the measure of 10% )
• rules and authorisation for detailed monthly hours
• Special associated expenses (MOU and G7) related to the MOSAIC objectives
• Arenotech economical payment execution
• 3rd parties rules
• Travels and subsistence reimbursement for meeting of December 1996 and the Kick-off meeting
