1. Summary

The document describes the main activities in MOSAIC done by Contractors and Participating Organisation during the period of May until July 1998.

2. Management

The main management activities performed have been:

  • contractual issues clarification
  • web site in progress upgrading and management
  • working meeting organisation:
    • 6.05.1998 MOSAIC Internal Meeting at Milano
    • 25.05.1998 MOSAIC Meeting at Sofia Antipolis/Nice
  • secretary project organisation

All the MOSAIC documents produced till now have been inserted on the web both in HTML and .doc formats (delivered versions, summaries and drafts). At the present the documents on the web are:

WP 1200. In progress. A final draft has been completed and it’s available on the web site.

WP 1300. In progress. Partners research and MOSAIC presentation continue until the end of the project. A final report will be completed in that period.

WP 1800. Ongoing Dissemination Activities. Translation of the MOSAIC information flyer into German and publishing of the German MOSAIC flyer with a reply card for organizations and people interested in the project.

WP 2000. A detailed configuration of the demo service centre has been provided in the WP 1600 document. New item has been added in the web Demos section. Cultural on line browser is activated. Metadabase data population is in progress. Technical Support for the Cultural On-Line Browser (Work on connecting the COB to CIMI Standard). Organisational activities for the creation of the Cultural Service Centre Austria (CSC Austria).

Work on creating a business model for the Cultural Service Centre.
