(1) The Logo MOSAIC is the outcome of the various stages experienced by the graphic alphabet, it is a fundamental mean for communication and culture. It is the synthesis of the graphic excursus, which goes from the Roman inscriptions, through Charlemagne, with the Caroline writing, who was the promoter of the unity of the western graphics, to the Renaissance harmonization and the XIX century ornate style.The colours of the logo come out from an artistic elaboration of a detail of the EU flag, which better interprets the contents of the project MOSAIC.
(2) This Logo emphasizes content over form, conceived on the meaningful value of lettering. The letter "O" symbolizes a mysterious but full of perspectives world (which represents Mosaic universe), whereas the "C" with a different and bright color (red carmine) expresses the main content of this project as "C" stands for "Culture".
 | (3) This Logo has a "striking" effect with an "exoticism" touch, its aim is to express the fascinating adventure of mankind cultural experience. The three versions herewith proposed, highlight its "media" contents. |

dopo aver preso visione dei logotipi proposti, aver verificato la trasferibilita' degli stessi (in b/n, tratto etc.) ed aver affisso i vari progetti in Dipartimento chiedendo al pubblico un parere e' risultato vincente il primo logo proposto (quello attualmente in uso). NB Abbiamo lasciato trascorrere qualche giorno prima di rispondere per dare modo ai valutatori di riflettere sui marchi proposti riesaminandoli piu' volte.
